Barns & Brush is an exhibit to celebrate the countryside, including scenic views, animals, fruits, trees, and rustic landscapes. The collection of paintings on display August 3-30 includes works by Allison Doke, Maureen Engle, Lorraine Kimsey, and Larry Smith. The exhibit is a breath of fresh air for the spirit, bringing viewers back to their homegrown roots. Farmers and City dwellers alike will enjoy the brushstrokes of nature’s simplicity. The opening reception on August 3, 6-8 pm is hosted by Beyond the Front Porch.
