CAC’s July Pop Up Arts Shop

The CAC strives to connect the Douglasville community to affordable, locally created products, and is proud to welcome Mary Lou Bailey Funk and her vibrant, original paintings and crafts as July’s featured Pop Up Arts Shop artist! Specializing in a wide variety of painted and drawn creations, Mary packs each of her pieces with joy and personality.

In 1991, a friend ignited Mary Lou’s interest in drawing and painting, and it quickly became a passion. After learning to use oil paint by copying masters such as Monet and Renoir, she began capturing a wide variety of subjects, including animals, botanicals, landscapes, still life, and even commissioned portraits. Over time, Mary evolved her fine art painting skills to create smaller, more affordable pieces that are accessible to everyone. Mary Lou’s collection for July’s Pop Up Arts Shop is carefully curated to showcase the full range of her talent.

All items are under $75, so be sure to stop by the CAC for some fantastic arts and crafts before they’re gone!
