The CAC’s Pop Up Arts Shop Welcomes Greeting Card Designer Mary Aveni of Mary Nelle’s Notes

Douglasville, GA – Every month, the Cultural Arts Council of Douglasville/Douglas County (CAC) features the work of a local artist in their Pop Up Arts Shop. The CAC strives to connect the Douglasville community to affordable, locally created products and is proud to welcome Mary Aveni of Mary Nelle’s Notes and her beautiful, wildly detailed three-dimensional greeting cards as May’s featured Pop Up Arts Shop artist! Specializing in a wide variety of greeting cards, Mary uses sculptural techniques to make her pieces stand out. Her work is exceptional in both its quality and creativity.  

Mary’s team at Mary Nelle’s Notes has produced elegant wedding invitations at their print shop for many years. They are known for using layers of specialty papers, fancy fonts, custom dies, and surprising details. They have a knack for knowing how small embellishments, applied in creative ways, can produce elegant results. All of Mary’s cards are created by hand, without the need for printing presses or hydraulic cutters. Using cardstock, ink pads with rubber stamps, small cutting dies, and embossing materials, she can produce one-of-a-kind, high-end, versatile note cards for a reasonable price. 

 Mary’s work will be available for sale from May 1st to 29th. All items are under $7,5, so be sure to stop by the CAC for some amazing arts and crafts before they’re gone!
