The CAC Presents “Remembrance” – An Exhibit of Memorial Art-Opening Reception

An exhibit entitled “Remembrance” focused on the ability of art to preserve the point of view and memory of an artist even after they are gone will be on display at the Cultural Arts Center of Douglasville/ Douglas County (CAC) from July 4 – August 25th, 9 am – 5 pm. The free opening reception will be celebrated on Thursday, July 9th from 6-8 pm at the CAC, hosted by Kaiser Permanente and featuring delicious food from SharBerry Kitchen. Anyone and everyone is invited! Focused on the power of artwork to preserve the memory of departed artists, this powerful exhibit will feature work by creative souls who have passed. The pieces selected for the show are crystalized memories; moments in time which provide a snapshot of the spirit of the person long after they have died.
