4. Arbor Place Mall

Arbor Place Mall has become a great filming location for movie productions and TV shows. Fans of Big Momma’s House: Like Father, Like Son will recognize the scene where Martin Lawrence and Brandon Jackson ride the escalator filmed near the food court.

6. Champ’s Clock Shop

Champ’s Clock Shop made its debut in the feature film, The House with Clocks in Its Wall starring Jack Black. Clocks from the store were also featured in The Outsiders and Consenting Adults.

8. The Pine Mountain Gold Museum

Pine Mountain Gold Museum remains unique in the fact that it is Georgia’s only museum where an actual gold mine can be found. Parts of the movie Killing Season featuring Robert De Niro and John Travolta were filmed at this location.

9. Douglas County Sentinel

The Douglas County Sentinel office was transformed into a 1960s bank for the major motion picture The Banker, starring Samuel L. Jackson, Anthony Mackie, and Nia Long. Production completely transformed the inside of the Sentinel building to create the Bank scene in the movie.
