1. Tiffany’s Kitchen

Stranger Things fans will remember Tiffany’s Kitchen as “Benny’s Burgers.” In Season 1, Episode 1, Eleven escapes from Hawkins Lab and comes across Benny’s Burgers. Benny and Eleven sit at a table while Benny watches a starving Eleven eat her food.

2. Douglas County Museum of History and Art

In Season 2, Episode 7 of Stranger Things, the lobby of the Douglas County Museum of History of Art was used as a bus station. The Founder utilized the same lobby for a different time-period look. This location is uniquely preserved with a specific mid-century look.

4. Arbor Place Mall
Movies & TV Shows:
- Big Mommas House: Like Father, Like Son
- Finding Carter
Arbor Place Mall has become a great filming location for movie productions and TV shows. Fans of Big Momma’s House: Like Father, Like Son will recognize the scene where Martin Lawrence and Brandon Jackson ride the escalator filmed near the food court.

With access to over 2,500 acres, Sweetwater Creek makes an excellent backdrop for almost any kind of outdoor filming scenario. In The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1, Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth characters had an intimate conversation at the New Manchester Mill Ruins.

6. Champ’s Clock Shop

Champ’s Clock Shop made its debut in the feature film, The House with Clocks in Its Wall starring Jack Black. Clocks from the store were also featured in The Outsiders and Consenting Adults.

7. Foxhall Resort

Foxhall Resort is often utilized for film, television, and commercials. Most recently, Netflix’s film Dog Gone starring Rob Lowe, wrapped production. It’s scheduled to be released in 2022.

8. The Pine Mountain Gold Museum

Pine Mountain Gold Museum remains unique in the fact that it is Georgia’s only museum where an actual gold mine can be found. Parts of the movie Killing Season featuring Robert De Niro and John Travolta were filmed at this location.

9. Douglas County Sentinel
Movies & TV Shows:
- The Banker
The Douglas County Sentinel office was transformed into a 1960s bank for the major motion picture The Banker, starring Samuel L. Jackson, Anthony Mackie, and Nia Long. Production completely transformed the inside of the Sentinel building to create the Bank scene in the movie.
